Did you hear the news? You probably didn't. You've been too busy revving your Chevy around town and playing your rock n' roll. For those who aren't hedonistic, here's news to cry about. It seems that the Fab Four from CBS's the Talk are about to break up for good. Reportedly, co-hosts Leah Remini and Holly Robinson Peete have been quit-fired from the flailing program. Both of these folks "reportedly" haven't been asked to sign a re-up. You know, it's a shame because Leah got out her quills and everything, ready to sign that contract. From the looks of it, it was not to be. Co-hosts Sharon Osborne, Sara Gilbert and Julie Chen have all re-signed. Aw shucks...
Oh god, look what's left.... Well those ladies aren't going to insure a ratings bonanza, yet they stand undettered nonetheless. Heh, look at my clumsy Photoshop, those three are together like they wanted from the start. The idea that these folks (as well as new additions) will make this show better is the heighth of fancy. Yeah I said it, heighth. And really if I had the choice, I'd can these three but that's impossible, isn't it. Boring ass Julie Chen is married to CBS president Les Moonves. Sharon Osbourne gets name recognition by way of that show she does with Jeeves McGinty and Mariah Carey's son. And saddest of all, Sara Gilbert created this disaster, she's not leaving. Speaking of Sara Gilbert, she's a scintillating host isn't she? So exciting!
Part 2: I do like Leah Remini a lot. Sure she's loud, annoying and trying but with her, it works. That's not a backhanded compliment, I actually like those things. At press time, the decision hasn't been made with Peete and Remini...
